Alistair Angus

Chairman

As of 1st April 2025, Alistair has been appointed Chairman of SI Global, where he now focuses on supporting the firm’s global partners and advancing the strategic initiatives that shape the future of the business.

Prior to this role, Alistair led SI Global’s M&A Advisory practice in UK then Asia-Pacific, specialising in connecting businesses with global investors and partners. During this time, he has advised consultancy, creative, and technology businesses on transactions and commercial improvement across both regional and international markets.

Alistair has advised on multiple cross border deals in the UK, Europe, China, Singapore, India, Japan, South Korea and Australia in the business service and technology and consultative services sectors including:

A founder of SI Global, Alistair has been with the company since its inception 23 years ago and has worked in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore and has now returned to the UK, based in Edinburgh.

A chemist by training, Alistair holds an MBA from Manchester Business School, which he completed in part at Università Bocconi in Milan.
