SI Global was exclusive lead sell-side advisor to international digital, brand and content business, Bladonmore on its sale to reputation and communications consultancy Headland, backed by LDC.

The acquisition positions Headland to deliver an expanded, integrated offer across a broader range of markets, enhancing its ability to advise senior leaders as they navigate increasingly complex stakeholder environments, rising scrutiny, and a rapidly evolving communications and digital landscape.

Bladonmore advises listed and multinational organisations, as well as private capital-backed businesses, on stakeholder engagement through digital, content, coaching, and campaign-based programmes. The firm has a strong track record supporting clients through critical corporate events — including financial results, investor communications, transactions, crises, and major transformation initiatives. With a 50-person team spanning London and New York, Bladonmore serves a blue-chip client base across the US, UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

The business will continue to operate independently under its existing leadership of CEO, Richard Carpenter and Founder and Chair, Richard Rivlin — maintaining its distinctive proposition and brand identity. In parallel, Headland and Bladonmore will collaborate closely to deliver complementary expertise, building on Headland’s integrated culture and proven capability in uniting specialist skills to create value for clients.

Commenting on the transaction, Joe Hine, Partner at SI Global, said: The market demand for strategic communications consultancies remains strong, with this marking SI Global’s third transaction in the sector over the past 12 months.

The shareholders of Bladonmore had several options available, but with Headland there was an immediate connection and clear alignment with the broader Headland & Partners strategy.

This transaction is a great example of a company expanding into complementary service areas beyond its core offering to enhance its overall value proposition for clients, and has resulted in Headland’s first step into the US market."
