SI Global were lead sell-side advisor to international creative studio, Stereo Creative on its sale to Koto, a global brand and creative agency backed by WestBridge.
Stereo is a culturally focused creative agency with studios in London, San Francisco, Portland and Dubai. The agency works across branding, campaigns and content production, with long-standing client relationships across sport, entertainment and technology. Its clients include Nike, Arsenal, FIFA, Converse, the San Francisco 49ers, EA Sports, Twitch, Ripple and Bumble.
Founded in 2015, Koto has built an international reputation for brand transformation and creative excellence. Its recent work includes Amazon’s global rebrand, the identity for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Instagram’s new wordmark. Koto is also Microsoft’s branding agency of record.
The acquisition brings together two complementary creative businesses and strengthens Koto’s capabilities, international reach and presence in the US. The combined Koto Group will have 230 people across eight studios in London, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Portland, Dubai and Sydney.
The transaction is Koto’s first acquisition since receiving investment from WestBridge in April 2025 and supports its strategy of building a scaled global creative group through organic growth and selected acquisitions.
“Stereo and Koto have always felt like kindred spirits, sharing the same creative ethos and drive. Joining forces is a natural evolution for us and will ensure that both Stereo and Koto are better equipped to fight the good fight — standing up for true creativity and craft, always,” said Andrew Duff, CEO and co-founder, Stereo Creative.
“As Koto grows, welcoming Stereo is the first step in building a group of values-aligned, founder-led companies with the pursuit of excellence at their heart. We know how much our clients value the quality of our work, and this acquisition broadens the ways we can deliver it,” said James Greenfield, CEO and co-founder, Koto.
