SI Global advises Swanky on its investment from YFM Equity Partners

SI Global was lead sell-side advisor to Swanky, one of Europe's most established Shopify Platinum agencies, on its £7.6m investment from YFM Equity Partners. 

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Exeter, Swanky is a full-service Shopify Plus agency specialising in the design, development and optimisation of high-performance e-commerce experiences. The business serves clients across the UK, US, Europe and APAC, and was appointed as one of Shopify's first Plus Partners in EMEA in 2016. Over more than a decade, Swanky has built a reputation for delivering the most complex and high-profile Shopify transformation projects, earning trust from ambitious retailers and brands operating at the forefront of digital commerce.

Under the leadership of CEO Dan Partridge, who joined in 2021, Swanky has grown to a team of around 70 employees, strengthened its service capability across the full e-commerce lifecycle, and built a track record of consistent growth. The business is well positioned to benefit from accelerating Shopify Plus adoption across mid-market and enterprise segments globally.

YFM Equity Partners, a leading UK growth equity investor with over 40 years of experience and £750m under management, has invested £7.6m from its Buyout Funds to support Swanky's next phase of growth. The investment will fund further talent and capability development, as well as selective M&A activity. As part of the transaction, Chris Hirst — formerly Global CEO at Havas Creative Group — has joined as Chair, alongside new CFO Elly Adams, with Amy Dougan promoted to COO.
