SI Global were lead sell side advisors to advertising agency, Spring Family on its investment from Danish private equity firm, Dansk Ejerkapital.
Dansk Ejerkapital has acquired a 40% stake in Spring Family, Denmark’s largest advertising agency group by gross profit.
SI Global initially partnered with Spring Family in 2025 as they built their strategic road map - advising on the acquisition of Hamburg-based creative agency, HAJOK Design in June 2026. This acquisition added key services and geographical reach to Spring Family's platform, as well as the ability to service a broader global client-base.
The new capital will support acquisitions in Denmark and overseas, with international growth focused particularly on Spring CC, the group’s technology-driven creative content business.
Spring Family comprises of Spring CC, Zupa and Zite. The group’s strategy combines specialist agency expertise with the infrastructure and compliance capabilities of a larger shared platform—an increasingly important combination for international clients.
The six active partners will remain shareholders, while two passive partners will exit. Five senior executives will also join the partnership: Group CFO Karen Bach Lück, Group CIO Simon Lykkegaard, Zite CCO Kasper Sierslev, Spring CC CCO Nan Vangsgård and Spring CC CSI Henrik Larsen.
Spring CC CEO, Lars Bo Hansen believes AI will expand the market for creative content and the coordination of content across different media and international markets. He also expects AI to create more attractive acquisition opportunities and greater potential synergies.
Dan Højgaard Jensen, Managing Partner at Dansk Ejerkapital, says Spring Family has built a differentiated platform that generates synergies across its three business areas and is already advanced in its use of AI. Dansk Ejerkapital will contribute its acquisition and financing experience to support further consolidation and international growth.
